Yiwu Airport Offers Discount on Air Tickets

    Learnt from some ticket offices in the downtown of Yiwu city, many domestic flights can get discounts up to 70% or 80%. It is said that domestic airlines will keep high discounts which make some of the lines are even cheaper than trains. Some home airliners have adjusted the bunker surcharge fees because of the dropping international oil price. According to Ctrip, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Air China have already reduced parts of their international flights with a maximum drop up to 50%. A trip to Europe would cost about 10 thousand Yuan at present.

    Airlines try to sell more tickets by reducing ticket prices with discount from 50% to 80%. It was Air China that first lowered bunker surcharge of flights from Shanghai to Paris. The charge was dropped from 1100 Yuan to 900 Yuan. China Southern Airline adjusted the charge to 900 Yuan for flights between Europe and China. And the flights from China to the Middle East were charged 550 Yuan, half of the price before.
